Monkey Hill in Phuket

       Monkey Hill or (Khao Toh Sae) is located in the heart of Phuket Town. It rises over 250 meters above sea level and features a total of seven 360-degree panoramic viewpoints overlooking Phuket Town and the sea. It is a popular spot for exercise and an ecologically rich recreational area, home to a large population of local macaques.

 

Highlights & Activities:

360-Degree Viewpoints: Enjoy panoramic views of Phuket Town, the Provincial Hall, and the Andaman Sea.

Health Park & Exercise Trail: A popular 2-kilometer walking and jogging route, especially in the early morning and late afternoon.

Local Monkeys: Many macaques can be seen along the way up the hill (please keep valuables secure and do not feed them).

Phor Than Toh Sae Shrine: A sacred shrine respected by locals, with the legend of the three Phor Than Toh Sae spirits (White, Black, and Red).

Be cautious of monkeys grabbing items from your hands and avoid teasing them.

The best times to visit are early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat.
